You can change or fix what a screen option does on your Harmony remote. You might want to change the command sent by the screen option, its location, or what label is shown for it.
To fix or change the screen options on your Harmony remote:
Before you begin, connect your Harmony remote to your computer using the USB cable. Log in to your MyHarmony account and complete the following steps:
- Click the Buttons tab.
- To change or fix the screen options, select a device or activity from the screen options list and click Go.
The page displays information about how your Harmony remote screen is organized, including:- A display of the ‘pages’ of commands available on the Harmony remote screen.
- Summary information identifying the device being controlled (the device you selected in the previous step).
- To rearrange the commands, click and drag the command to its new page and position.
Tip: To drag an item, move the mouse pointer over the item, click and hold down the mouse button while moving the mouse, then let go of the mouse button when the item is in the desired location.
Tip: To change the label for a screen option, click the option, then edit the Label field.
NOTE: You can add new commands to your Harmony remote (see Knowledge Base article 18267).
- Continue customizing the screen options on your Harmony remote to suit your own preferences.
NOTE: To reset your customizations to the defaults assigned to the Harmony remote, click Restore Defaults. This will remove all screen options and button assignments you have created for the selected activity / device, but any commands that you have taught or fixed will be kept.
- When you’ve finished customizing your remote, click OK to return to the Buttons tab.
- Click Sync to update your Harmony remote with the new settings.
