You can use a 3G and earlier genereation iPod with your Logitech Pure-Fi Anytime by following the steps below:

Connect your 3G and earlier genereation iPod to the auxiliary jack (shown below) on the back of your Logitech Pure-Fi Anytime.

Press and Release the Source button repeatedly until the auxiliary input is active.

Make sure the volume on the 3G and earlier genereation iPod is set to at least 80%.

Press Play on your 3G and earlier genereation iPod.
NOTE: You cannot use the Logitech Pure-Fi Anytime to charge iPods that are 3G and earlier.
