The Logitech Wireless Guitar does not currently support the PLAYSTATION3 (PS3) backwards compatibility feature, which allows you to play PS2 games to be played on the newer Playstation console.
This is due to the PS3 lacking the ability to convert the Guitar's USB connection to the virtual gameport adapter it uses for PS2 games.
If you have a PS3, we recommend using a PS3 version of Guitar Hero with this controller. The Logitech Wireless Guitar for PS3 is specially designed for Guitar Hero World Tour, but will also work with earlier PS3 versions of Guitar Hero as well as the Playstation 2 version of Guitar Hero World Tour on the PS2 console.
