What is Flex?

Logitech® SmartDock Flex simplifies cabling for SmartDock by consolidating bulky AV, data, and power cables to a single CAT6 cable. The SmartDock Flex expansion kit includes a base that mounts beneath Logitech SmartDock and an extender box that fits behind a display at the front of the room. Rather than run multiple cables across the room, installers connect the SmartDock Flex base and extender box with CAT6 cable (up to 50 ft / 15 m), and then connect to the extender box.
 
For meetings outside the Microsoft® ecosystem, SmartDock Flex provides AV passthrough access to the room’s camera, speakerphone, and display. Now, you can use the equipment in your Skype™ rooms with Cisco WebEx®, Zoom, BlueJeans, and most any meeting or webinar service.
