Keyboard backlighting doesn’t work while playing Mass Effect: Andromeda

If your keyboard’s lighting remains disabled or off while playing Mass Effect: Andromeda, try the following steps:

1. Launch Logitech Gaming Software (LGS).
2. Click the Settings icon in the bottom right of the window.

   

3. Under Game integration, check Show game integration customization view.

   

   
   NOTE: Skip steps 2 and 3 if your game integration customization view is already visible.
4. Open the game integration customization view.

   

5. In the Applets pane, select Mass Effect: Andromeda, then in the right pane, scroll down to the Background color picker and enter a desired RGB value.

   

6. Alternatively, under Game integration, uncheck Allow games to control illumination. Your keyboard will use the layout selected for the game profile (or Default profile) in the Lighting Settings tab of LGS and will not play back game-specific lighting effects.
