Q: What is the difference between analyzed and Raw commands?
A: The difference between analyzed and RAW commands is analyzed commands are a condensed version of the commands from your original remote. They have been matched to a language in the public database for your devices. Analyzed commands are more versatile and will allow you to efficiently control your devices.
Q: When should I learn a command in the RAW format?
A: RAW commands are stored exactly as your original remote sends them. If analyzed commands are not properly controlling a specific function for your device, then try RAW commands.
Q: After I learn RAW, the command(s) I learned respond too much. Example, I press Channel Up and the Channel Up command is sent 2 or more times.
A: You may have held down the button on your original remote for too long when you learned the command. Try learning the command in RAW again. This time, try holding down the button for a shorter period of time when learning the command.
