When you leave for the day, use POP and Insteon Hub to power down your home. For example, as you're leaving your house, you single press a POP button / switch mounted on the wall near your front door; your connected lights all turn off. It's time to leave. Things are simple when you use POP with Insteon.
Add Insteon
- Ensure your POP bridge and Insteon Hub are on the same Wi‑Fi network.
- Open the Logitech POP app on your mobile device and select MENU in the upper left-hand corner.
- Tap MY DEVICES followed by + and then Insteon Hub.
- Next, you’ll need to sign into your Insteon account.
Create a recipe
Now that your Insteon Hub device or devices have been added, it’s time to set up a recipe that includes your device(s):
- From the home screen, select your button / switch.
- Under your button / switch name, select the press configuration you would like to use (single, double, long).
- Tap Advanced Mode if you'd like to set this device up using a trigger.
(tapping Advanced Mode will also further explain this option) - Drag your Insteon Device(s) to the center area where it says DRAG DEVICES HERE.
- If needed, tap the Insteon device(s) you just added and set your preferences.
- Tap ✓ in the upper right-hand corner to complete your POP button / switch recipe.
