Cause:
This will occur if the Shift Knob is not pressed down while turning the Mode Selection Dial.
Solution:
Follow the step below to properly change the shifter modes.

- Push straight down on the Shift Knob
- While holding down the Shift Knob, rotate the Mode Selection Dial to the desired setting
- In Sequential Mode, the Sequential Mode Status LED will be on. In Six-Speed (Gated) Mode the LED will be off.
