Recording Video and Audio in Photo Booth:
The easiest way of recording video from your QuickCam Vision Pro is using Photo Booth. Photo Booth comes built in to Mac OS X 10.4.11 and above, and requires no additional registration to use all of its features.
To record video and audio using Photo Booth:

Open Photo Booth from your application menu.

Click the Video button located at the bottom right corner of the video screen.

A window will open displaying your video stream. Click the red Record button and record your video.
Once you have completed recording your video, go to Importing your Movie files into iMovie section below.

Recording Video and Audio with Quicktime Pro:
NOTE: In order to use Quicktime Pro to record video with your QuickCam Vision Pro, you will need to purchase a Quicktime Pro license from Apple.
To record video and audio using Quicktime Pro:

Open Quicktime from your application menu.

Configure the Quicktime Pro application to record video and audio from your Vision Pro. Please see Knowledge Base article 360023208934.

Click File in the Menu Bar and select "New Movie Recording".

A window will open displaying your video stream. Click the Record button and record your video.
When you are done recording your video, Quicktime will save the movie file onto your desktop or your specified location. Once you have completed recording your video, go to Importing your Movie files into iMovie section below.

Importing your Movie files into iMovie:
Now that you have created video content, it is time to import your video files into iMovie for editing.

Open iMovie from your Applications folder.

Click File from the Menu Bar and select "Import Movies".

Locate your video files from the dialog box to import them into iMovie.

For Photo Booth users:

Locate the .MOV file in the Photo Booth folder. This folder is located at: Home > Pictures > Photo Booth (as shown below).

For Quicktime Users:

Locate the .MOV file created by Quicktime. The default location is usually the desktop.

Now that you have all the clips loaded into iMovie you can edit and share your movies in any way you want. For more information about iMovie and how to use it, please visit Apple's iMovie Website or iMovie's Help file.
