Using the inline remote control on my Ultimate Ears 400vi or 500vi

NOTE: The inline remote control microphone is only supported on iPods and iPhones that have voice recording capabilities.

The inline remote control can be used for the following:

• Listening to music
• Taking a phone call

Listening to music

NOTE: Volume and track controls are only available for iPods and iPhones.

1. Volume up.

2. The number of button press determine the function.

   • One button press: Play/Pause

   • Two quick button presses: Next Track

   • Three quick button presses: Previous Track

3. Volume down.

Taking a phone call

NOTE: The following functions are only available for iPhones.

• During an incoming call:

  1. Silence ringer.

  2. Answer call.

  3. Silence ringer.

• On a call:

  1. Call volume up.

  2. Hang up call.

  3. Call volume down.

• When idle and not on a call:

  1. Ringer volume up.

  2. N/A.

  3. Ringer volume down.
