Create a Harmony Smart Control “Play a Game” activity for systems with an audio video (AV) receiver

This example uses the information from the following sample device map worksheet. Please fill out your own device worksheet (see answer 360023417113) to configure your devices for an activity to play a game on a system with an AV receiver.

Creating the Play a Game activity for systems with AV receivers:

1. Log in to your account on myharmony.com.

   NOTE: Be sure all devices needed for this activity have been added to your account.

2. Select your Harmony Smart Control remote from the Welcome screen.

3. Click Activities.

4. Click Add Activity.

5. Select Play a Game and then click Next.

6. Change the name and icon of your activity or accept the default, then click Next.

7. Select the devices you will use in this activity, and then click Next.

8. For this example, select the following and then click Next at the bottom of each screen:

   1. Which device do you use to control volume in your Play a Game activity? Select "Pioneer VSX-23TXH".

   2. Which input should your Sony TV be set to when you start your Play a Game Activity? Select "Video 8".

   3. Which input should your Pioneer AV Receiver be set to when you start your Play a Game Activity? Select "BD".

9. For Please confirm this setup is correct for your Play a Game Activity, click Back to make changes or Done to save the activity.

10. Click Sync to update changes.
