To uninstall the Harmony remote software:
Windows
Windows 7:
- Click on Start and then choose the Control Panel option
- Click All control panel items. Now choose Programs and Features
- Click View installed updates in the left pane
- From the list select Logitech Harmony Remote Software and the Uninstall button will appear. Click Uninstall
- A popup will appear to confirm the uninstall. Click Yes to proceed with the removal of the Harmony software
Windows Vista:
- Click on Start and then choose the Control Panel option
- Click on the Uninstall a program option under the Programs category. If you are using the Classic View of the Control Panel, double-click on Programs and Features icon
- From the list select Logitech Harmony Remote Software and click Uninstall
- A popup will appear to confirm the uninstall. Click Yes to proceed with the removal of the Harmony software
Windows XP:
- Click on Start and then choose the Control Panel option
- Click on Add or Remove Programs
- From the list select Logitech Harmony Remote Software and click Remove
- A popup will appear to confirm the uninstall. Click Yes to proceed with the removal of the Harmony software
Mac
To uninstall the Harmony remote software
- Click on Finder
- Click on Applications
- Locate Logitech Harmony Software.app
- Click and drag the file into the trash icon located on the dock, or press and hold the Ctrl (control) button to bring up a table of options and actions. Select move to trash
If you wish to completely remove all traces of the Harmony remote software, you will need to download and run the Uninstall Logitech Remote Software application which is part of the Harmony remote software. To do this follow the steps below:
- Download the latest Harmony remote software from the Downloads Page
- Once you have downloaded the software, double-click on LogitechHarmonyRemoteSoftware.dmg file
- Double-click on UninstallLogitechHarmonyRemoteSoftware.app
- A popup will appear to confirm the uninstall. Click Yes to proceed with the removal of the Harmony software
- Once the uninstall is complete, click on Close
- You can then drag the LogitechHarmonyRemoteSoftware.dmg file to trash icon located on the dock
