Here's how to replace the shifter or wheel knob on your Driving Force Shifter:
- Pull out the knob cap that isn’t locking — as shown in image 1.
NOTE: The spring can fall out easily, but can be inserted back in either direction, as shown in image 2. - To assemble the new cap, locate the hook inside the knob cap (image 3).
- Align the hook into the cylinder slot (image 4).
- Press the knob cap into place.
- Your shifter is ready to go (image 5).
